Preheat the air fryer to 380° F | 180° C for 5 minutes.
Add a liner, and add the wings, air frying for 20 minutes at 380° F | 180° C.
Melt your butter in a small saucepan, and add the butter to a large bowl with the Frank's Red Hot sauce, ketchup, and maybe syrup.
Pour heated wings into your large bowl, and mix thoroughly. Add wings back to your air fryer, and cook for an additional 5 minutes at 400° F | 204° C.
Find the largest wing and check the temperature with a meat thermometer making sure that your wings are at least 160° F | 71° C. Add time as necessary.
Plate and enjoy!
If you prefer more crispy wings, don’t add the sauce to the air fryer. Instead, leave the wings in until they are the desired crispiness. Once done, remove them, and toss them in the bowl of sauce. This creates more of a crispy wing coated in sauce, rather than a juicy wing that has absorbed some of the sauce.
