If you still have cable TV, it’s likely that you’ve seen at least one commercial for the Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360. Cooking infomercials are hard to turn away from – the yummy food, the promise of easier and faster cooking, the simple clean up. Who wouldn’t keep watching?
Even so, when we were given a free Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360 in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, we were skeptical. After all, we’ve been disappointed by an “As Seen on TV!” air fryer before. But we were very pleasantly surprised by how much we like the Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360, which now has a dedicated home on our kitchen counter.
Read on for our detailed review, plus a chance to win your own Power AirFryer 360!

Getting Started
When we received the Power AirFryer 360, we had to remove our Cuisinart toaster oven to make room for it. But no tears were shed because the Power AirFryer 360 does what our toaster oven did and so much more. We mostly used the toaster oven for, well, toast – that was its near-daily job. We also used it for frozen pizzas and for baking pies or crumbles in the heat of summer or at the holidays when multiple cooking devices were already in use. The Power AirFryer 360 can do all of those things, as well as air fry, broil, rotisserie, slow cook, dehydrate and more. I’m all about multi-function kitchen items so even though the Power AirFryer 360 is a little bigger than our toaster oven and it takes up a bit more countertop space, it’s a worthwhile trade.

LCD control panel of the Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360
While I’m very prone to jumping right in and using kitchen appliances before reading the owner’s manual, this wasn’t an issue with the Power AirFryer 360. The LCD control panel and accompanying dials and buttons are clear and easy to understand. Once you plug in the unit, you rotate the Select dial to choose one of 12 preset default settings. For example, when choosing AirFry, the temperature is preset to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (205 degrees Celsius) and the time to 18 minutes. But once you’ve selected AirFry, you can use the Temp dial to change the temperature to anything between 120-400 degrees F (49-205 degrees C) and the Time dial to any time between 1-45 minutes. This manual adjusting applies to all 12 presets except Warm – you can adjust the time from 1 minute to 4 hours on Warm, but the temperature is fixed at 160 degrees F (71 degrees C).

The other thing that made it easy to jump right in are the markings on the front of the door. They indicate exactly where you should put your tray/rack/pan according to your desired method of cooking.

Position descriptions on the door
Of course, the smart people behind the Power AirFryer 360 know there are lots of us who don’t read the manual first so they included a handy one-page Quick Start Guide with color photos. One side outlines four steps for air frying, and the other outlines four steps for rotisserie.

The Power AirFryer 360 quick start guide
Once I did get my act together and read the manual, I was impressed by the clear pictures, instructions and other information. It helps make mastering the use of this multi-function appliance quite easy.

Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360 owner’s manual
The page above goes into detail about what each preset mode does and the heating element(s) used. An important thing to note here is that the air frying fan is always on for the AirFry and Dehydrate presets and can be turned on/off for Pizza, Bake, Rotisserie, Slow Cook, Roast, Reheat. It’s important because when the air fry fan is off, the unit operates silently, just like a regular oven. But when the air fry fan is on, it’s loud (more on that below). So if you’re using a preset that doesn’t require the air fry fan to be on, you’ll probably want to do yourself a favor and turn it off (if it’s preset to on) or not turn it on (which you can do easily with the button below the LCD panel.
Performance
Air Frying
First and foremost, the Power AirFryer 360 needs to be a great air fryer. And it is! The crisper tray is the go-to accessory for this. While it’s not deep (only one inch), it’s 11 inches wide by 10.25 inches deep, which is a lot of surface area for an air fryer. I prefer air frying one layer of food at a time if possible, so this suits me just fine. We air-fried a number of recipes with it, including our air fryer butternut squash (the savory option), frozen tater tots, tofu, roasted nuts (recipe coming soon!), frozen spring rolls and homemade french fries. Everything turned out tasty, as expected.
It’s important to note that preheating for air frying isn’t optional, it’s required. Since you can’t turn it off, you have a few choices – you can put your food in before you press start and take the preheat time into account, lowering your overall cooking time. Or you can keep your food out during the preheat and add it once the unit is up to temperature. There’s just one caveat with that – the unit beeps a few times when it hits the cooking temp then immediately starts the cooking timer. If you’re not paying attention or close by, you will lose cooking time. But all isn’t lost – just hit the Start/Pause button, put your food in then use the Time dial to reset to the full cooking time before touching the Start/Pause button again.

While I mentioned the noise of the air frying function above, it’s not too dissimilar to other air fryers. Although the GoWISE USA 4.6 QT air fryer that we are also testing right now is similar in sound level, it sounds more fan-like and the Power AirFryer 360 in AirFry mode sounds more machine-like if that makes sense. I really don’t mind the sound of an air fryer because I’m usually doing other things while it’s cooking and am not focused on the noise. But that applies to short air frying cooking times, not dehydrate…
Dehydrate
I was very excited to try the dehydrating function in the Power AirFryer 360. I’ve never had a dehydrator, I love apple chips and my husband loves banana chips so I happily sliced some up to give it a whirl. I didn’t research how to dehydrate apple and banana chips, I just placed the sliced fruit on the crisper tray, turned the Select dial to Dehydrate and pressed Start. The preset default for Dehydrate is 120 degrees F (49 degrees C) and six hours. Alas, that wasn’t long enough. As you can see from the photo below, they definitely dehydrated, but were much more chewy than crispy and certainly needed more time. (Oddly enough, the Emeril recipe book that comes with the unit includes five recipes using the dehydrate function. All five require either 10 or 12 hours of dehydrating time. Makes me wonder why six hours is the preset time.)

Apple and banana slices dehydrating in the Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360
Obviously it’s on me for not doing my homework. And if I dehydrate again, I will certainly read up on how best to do it. But it’s doubtful I will do it again because of the noise. As I mentioned, the air frying fan doesn’t put out much (if any) more noise than other air fryers I’ve used. But I’ve never air fried for SIX hours. It’s kind of inescapable, that noise echoing throughout the house for that amount of time. Frankly, it got annoying. And that level of annoyance for that amount of time for so little yield is even more annoying. You can use the pizza rack to dehydrate an additional layer of items, or buy extra crisper trays (it can hold three at once) to make the dehydrating time more worthwhile. My husband has said he wants to try making jerky so I’ll wish him luck and find something to do away from the house that day.
Rotisserie
My husband was in charge of Operation Rotisserie and friends, it did not go well. But it was totally user error and not Emeril’s fault. We picked up a whole chicken at Sam’s Club and he used the rotisserie chicken recipe in the included Emeril cookbook to make a really nice rub for the chicken. That worked out great, although the quantity the recipe produced was a LOT (we ran out of paprika and had to borrow some from a neighbor!) and more than enough for two birds. He’d never trussed a chicken before and didn’t research how to do it before diving into the project (sigh). His hands were covered in chicken and rub when he called me to the kitchen for help. He hadn’t readied string for the trussing (!!) so I had to look for something to use. The only thing I could find? Green floral wire (yes, seriously).
After multiple tries, we trussed it as best we could while it was already on the rotisserie spit (not the proper order) and placed it in the Power AirFryer 360. It rotated about three times but we could see the chicken touching the bottom heating elements, leaving behind rub which was starting to burn. Fail. So we removed it and went with plan B – we untrussed it and used the GoWISE USA 4.6 QT air fryer to air fry it. It was delicious, but more on that in the GoWISE USA review.
We will try the rotisserie again and I’ll update this review when we do. There are no instructions in the manual regarding the size of the bird other than the cookbook’s instruction of using a four-pound chicken with the rotisserie recipe. The website says the Power AirFryer 360 holds a 10-pound chicken, but that’s in a baking pan and not on the rotisserie spit. Alas, we have a four and a half pound chicken, just like the first one, that we’re going to try again now that we have kitchen twine and have read up on trussing and the steps to follow to get the bird on the spit. If we’re unsuccessful, we’ll buy a smaller bird and hope the third time is the charm.
**UPDATE** We tried the rotisserie again and were successful! We successfully trussed it with kitchen twine, used the tasty Emeril rub again, got it on the rotisserie spit, and produced another deliciously juicy chicken. It did take longer than the Emeril cookbook said it would, but then again, we have a half-pound bigger bird. While it worked, I don’t know if I’d do it again. We had such great success air frying a chicken (in less time) in the GoWISE USA 4.6 quart air fryer and the clean up after that was much easier than cleaning the Power AirFryer 360. (It’s not that it was hard to clean, but the rotisserie throws juice all over the interior so everything needs to be wiped down.) Because of that, I’m much more likely to just straight-up air fry it, either in the Power AirFryer 360 or another air fryer.
Bake
I made air fryer cupcakes and they turned out great. But it wasn’t until after I’d made them that I read in the owner’s manual that you can turn off the air frying fan in Bake mode. If I had turned off the fan, the baking would have been silent and the cupcakes wouldn’t have had air fryer peaks on them (read the cupcake recipe for more on that). But regardless of looks, a tasty cupcake doesn’t last long around here.
Pizza
We’ve cooked multiple frozen pizzas in the Power AirFryer 360 to great success. I did notice that the section of the pizza at the front of the oven (next to the door) got browner than the part in the back. But it wasn’t overly brown or overcooked so no complaints from me. Cleaning up any melted cheese was as easy as removing the drip pan, wiping it off with a paper towel, and putting it back in the unit.
Slow Cook
I haven’t tried slow cooking yet. We use our large slow cooker often in the winter (mmm, chili) so I’m looking forward to slow cooking in the Power AirFryer 360. I haven’t looked through my pans/baking dishes to see if I have one that could work well and maximize the available cooking space within the unit. Maybe this is just the reason I need to put an enamel dutch oven on my Christmas wish list…
Toast
Toasting – whether bread or bagels – is very easy. Just turn the Select dial to the toast (or bagel) preset, the Temp/Darkness dial to the level of toastedness you want, the Time/Slices dial to the number of pieces you’re toasting (up to six) then press Start. The machine figures out the time (which you see on the LCD panel) and temp (which you don’t see) based on your inputs and silently toasts away, beeping when ready.
Quality
The unit is very solid and nothing feels or looks cheap or flimsy. I foresee it and the included accessories lasting a long time. We had our toaster oven for 12+ years so I would hope for a similar life span for the Power AirFryer 360.
Ease of Use
As I mentioned previously, it was really simple to get started with it. All the operations are straightforward and easily executed. Using the rotisserie functionality does require some finesse and homework if you’ve never rotisseried before (lesson learned!), but I’m sure once you (or we) do it successfully, it will be easy to do it again.
I really like the interior light. It makes it easy to check your food visually during cooking and it automatically turns off after a number of seconds.
One important thing to note: once you press the Start button, you can’t change the time UNLESS you hit Start/Pause. So if you’re air frying something but determine it needs extra time, just push the Start/Pause button, use the Time dial to add extra minutes then push the Start/Pause button again. Yet you can’t change the temperature that way. So there’s no easy way to dial up the temp in the last few minutes for extra crispiness.
Ease of Cleaning
Most air fryers have dishwasher-safe removable parts. The Power AirFryer 360 owner’s manual recommends hand-washing their accessories. Even so, clean up is a breeze. I really love the drip tray – cleaning it is as easy as sliding it out, rinsing it with water (maybe a little soap if it’s greasy) and wiping it off. That’s it – I haven’t had to scrub it but I also haven’t rotisseried with it yet. Just be careful when you remove the drip tray. If you pull it out too fast, items caught by the tray could stay behind and then you have to clean the inside, too. The pizza rack and crisper tray are similar – just a quick rinse/wipe down and they are good to go. I’ve used the baking pan for cupcakes (no clean up needed) and for cooking a frozen vegetable side dish. With that, a little soap and water clean up and you’re done.
Using the rotisserie (at least with a chicken) causes a lot of splatter within the unit so all surfaces (not just the drip tray) need to be cleaned/wiped down.
Meal Size
The owner’s manual says the capacity is “up to 930 internal cubic inches”. That’s equivalent to 16 quarts, which is by far the biggest air fryer we’ve ever used. That said, this machine’s capacity isn’t like basket-type air fryers where the capacity of the machine is the capacity of the basket. In this machine, you’re limited by your tray space/capacity so don’t think you can air fry four gallons of tater tots at once (sad face). But you can use more than one of the included items together, like the crisper tray AND the pizza rack, since the Power AirFryer 360 has multiple tray positions. Or buy extra parts like additional crisper trays, pizza racks or baking pans (I am very tempted by the rotisserie basket – that would hold a lot of tots).
If I just compare the one included crisper tray to the basket capacity of the GoWISE USA 4.6 quart air fryer, the Power AirFryer 360 has a lot more surface area (8.5 inch round basket vs. 11 x 10.25 inches rectangular tray). When air frying, I prefer one layer of food as it yields more uniform results in my opinion. In the Power AirFryer 360, I can fit a lot more food in one layer than in the GoWISE or similarly sized air fryers.

Summary
The Power AirFryer 360 does a great job cooking food quickly and evenly and provides the added value of cooking functions beyond air frying. It’s a great option if you want more air frying capacity or want to replace another appliance like a toaster oven with one with multiple functions. If you don’t need an extra large capacity air fryer or don’t want the multi-functionality of the Power AirFryer 360, AirFrying.net recommends both the Phillips brand, the Chefman and the GoWise USA.
This is a very disappointing unit. Emeril, you lied…this is nothing but a glorified toaster oven. One cannot discard the use of a microwave. This does not take the place of one at all. Unit takes too long for preheating, more than my regular oven.
Went through one, rotisserie bar missing. I would have to pay for bar and shipping as per the website. Went to store of purchase. They replaced the unit. The next one came dented a bit. We thought no problem…when using the air-fryer? terrible loud noise coming from the fan. I have had it. I hope this will get published so I can alleviate any more aggravated customers.
I’m sorry you’ve had a bad experience with this appliance, Joanne. I’ve never really watched the infomercials so I don’t know what they are claiming in them, but I don’t see it replacing a microwave either. That said, it was never my expectation. We haven’t experienced long preheat times and have found it to be a good toaster/pizza oven/air fryer/etc combo.
This is so sad try to get an honest OPINION is Impossible I guess when it’s free it’s a different story you claim the air fryers works great I’ve read 4 different reviews of course there’s was not free like yours all 4 said the air fryer was the worst they ever tested but amazing enough you got it free and it’s great in your OPINION you people should be ashamed of yourself reviews are a joke anything to make a buck
Hello Mark, We have used our Emeril for a couple of years now. For honesty, I will tell you what I don’t like about it over time. The letters on the buttons come off over time. I have found that after a year or so, the temp listed inside no longer accurate, I have found that at times, it is up to a hundred degrees lower than it should be, so that being said, we use an external thermometer. Additionally, I am not quite happy with the the way the buttons are setup. I find difficult to read the buttons in low light, so you may not get the proper settings. Would I replace this if offered a newer model of a different company…more than likely.
With that being said, all we can do is give an honest initial quality opinion. It was a decent average toaster oven, with average ergonomics. I now only use this toaster oven for toast, or tater tots.
Having the same problems with my air fryer. Takes forever to preheat. Paused it to rotate the food. Had to preheat again for 20 minutes. After cooking for double the time the food called for the food still wasn’t done. Very disappointed in this airfryer. Can someone tell me how to get a refund please.
All of his products do not do what they promise you, have been fighting for a year for a refund on a product that I returned, they still are taking me to collections. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP, totall rip odd
I received my 360xl learning how to cook things I haven’t found a site that tells me all the foods I want to learn the only drawback that I found which really needs to be fixed I got my dad when you reach for the handle to open the door to pull the food out your burn your fingers on the metal plate on the outside out of the oven
Hi, Melody – That’s an interesting observation regarding the metal facing on the door behind the handle. The handle is always cool to the touch, but I could see the metal part behind it getting hot. We haven’t touched that part while the oven is in use, but if you experienced that, I’d recommend calling the company because that is definitely a problem.
I too I have recently burnt my finger pretty good on the door right behind the handle.
I thought I was just being careless when I got a 2nd degree burn on my knuckle when I touched it opening up the oven a couple weeks ago. But then tonight my husband had it happen to him! Never happened with the toaster oven for all those years we had it. Strange that this was the only post I found?
In trying to purchase the air fryer xl, I was mislead by ads that started popping up on my computer. They are almost equivalent to bait and switch with the purchase price. They gave two choices – one for the ‘air fryer 360’ and one for ‘air fryer 360 deluxe set’ with extra accessories, they do not offer the airfryer xl at a reduced price or with extra accessories at all. As a matter of fact, the only price for the air fryer 360 xl you can find online is more than the one on the infomercial.
I found this to be misleading and was very disappointed that someone with a reputation like Emeril would use such a deceiving practice.
The crisper trays are very hard to clean when cooking fried chicken. French fries don’t turn out very good – not crisp. Haven’t received subscriptions or Wal Mart gift certificate. Not happy with this purchase. Pork roast on rotisserie turned out to be very dry.
I saw your promotion in the tv, the crispy fried chicken, according to the host, when you put the chicken inside, the heat or the power from Emeril air fryer 360xl is enough to cook both side until is done. no need flip the chicken, right?
Hi, Lucina – If you cook chicken in one layer on the crisper tray in the Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360, you shouldn’t need to flip the chicken. The crisper tray is very open and allows cooking from all sides.
May 27, 2020.
I brought the Emeril air fryer 360xl last April 19,2020.
I am disappointed because when I saw the promotion in the TV. I am impressed because there is no need to flip the chicken or sausages because it’s 360 and it can cover the whole or full heat air fryer. When I first try to cook in the airfryer. I cooked a chicken the under part is burned and the top part it’s not, all in all it so dry. When that happened, I try again to cook in the airfryer to check why is it like that. The second time I cooked the hamonado sausages and I flipped it for a few times. But it’s the same thing. the under part of the sausage is burned , so I keep open the door of the air fryer and flip the sausages for how many times. I burned my hand too for doing that. I like the Emeril air fryer but the performance of that is not good. This is not cheap this is expensive, actually I just brought the recipe book of this Emeril air fryer from amazon because I want more recipes for this, And is said in the television if you are not satisfied for 90 days you can return the air fryer , and You can refund my full money back. And I dont wanna buy the expensive things and is not worthy
What a scam! My husband bought me this for Christmas 2020….No matter what I try to cook in it, it is very disappointing…Air fry does not crisp. Rotisserie drips on pan start smoking….anything baked is dried out so much it is not edible. How can I return this dinosaur???
I too am disappointed with the air fryer. It takes way too long. It’s the mandatory preheat time that adds a minute or so to everything you want to cook. Why should I use this as a toaster when it takes 4-8 minutes to toast. The family agreed that the cheaper “standard” air fryer worked faster and just as well. What use is a bigger cooking area when you lose that advantage in how long it takes. The purpose of buying this unit (as it made it sound in the infomercial) was to be able to replace the other appliances like someone already said. We removed our toaster oven but am regretting it now.
Buyer Beware!! I purchased this off Emeril’s infomercial. Sounded great, but when I got it, the manuel read like a warning from the fire department! Very dangerous appliance! Will burn your child if they touch it while in use. Can catch on fire, shock you, and nothing can be closer than 5 inches! The 90 day guarantee is useless because it costs over $80 to return and they won’t pay a dime of it! So they tell you to sell it yourself for half price or regift to a friend! Right! So lame. I’m surprised Emeril puts his name on this product! The air fryer really doesn’t work. Food turns out mushy and the controls won’t let you set the heat any higher than 400 degrees. I know why! Dial 911!
Received the Air fryer 360 and the timer worked once and that was it. The fan seems to make a lot of noise but don’t know if it should. Not happy.
Hi, Lowell – We found the fan did make more noise than our other air fryers.
Not happy! Hard to clean light won’t stay on long enough to see to clean. The sides get greasy. I can’t clean the inside of air fryer. Thought I was getting the deluxe 360 XL.
called customer support… on hold forever.ct
I have cleaned the air fryer every time I use it. Read all other comments.
Paid to much the infomercial doesn’t show inside of the walls after baking. I want my money back with free shipping.
I feel I’ve been conned. Emeril shame on you for endorsing this product.
After reading these reviews I am glad that I did not buy one of these. I was thinking strongly of buying one. Thanks for the warnings. Why do they want to con us buyers? As it sounds it is coming back to bite them in the you know what.
I had a cheap Ronco rotisserie that lasted 20 years. Pop it on, “set it and forget it”, easy to clean, one setting but versatile. I loved it. So I bought this 360 appliance from an Emeril informercial. What a mistake. It is hard to fit even a 5 pound chicken or beef, you almost need a calculator to get it JUST RIGHT without trying to make it fit over and over. Plus I could have purchased it cheaper at Walmart. I will never buy an Emeril product again!
Had my emerail air fryer and loved it until one day after a year I was air frying and all was good until I turned it off. After I turned it it off it kind of smelt like an electrical smell. It was off so I wasn’t concerned but was concerned of the smell. Then all of a sudden it turned itself back on and starting smoking really bad and smelled up my home. I immediately unplugged it. I will not use it again. I’m so disappointed since it was amazing. I will be trashing it since its been over a year since I purchased it and is not under any warranty. I suggest that you buy the protection plan, I wish I had of.
Love mine, but hate the beeping! It’s so loud. Any way to stop the beeping?
I absolutely love MY Emeril Lagasse Power AirFry 360 Plus. I set it for what I’m going to cook in it and it’s ready while I’m prepping. We love homemade pizza;as it’s just my fiance, myself, and my toddler grandson. Today, I’m going to dehydrate some banana slices. I’ll fill my air fry tray and use the pizza pan. I’ll comment back on how long it took as I read a comment that said it took her over 10hrs and she was angry. 6hrs is the “default time”….but if you look on Pg 11-Cooking Charts-it does say Time Range is 30min-72hrs. I’m sorry to hear that alot of folks have complaints. I don’t and love using this Airfryer/Oven as it keeps the house cool vs using my oven..
My 360 came damaged and I was not even offered to have it replaced. I was told where to ship it too and I had to pay shipping. It would have been nice to use but very hard to set without numbers working and just having a blue screen even though it was pretty not useful though. Getting supervisors to call you back is impossible and the the return policy is misleading. Now I know why I will not buy from an infomercial again. I will always ask myself what Emeril’s line means YOU CAN RETURN NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I guess not if it’s damaged and I have to pay $41.00 to ship back three weeks later.
I haven’t had any of the problems listed. I did make fried chicken and it came out delicious. I made toast which came out great and tomorrow I’ll try rotisserating a roast. I have only had 3 days and so far I love it and ordered an extra crisper and baking pan.
I just received mine and sending it back.
The heating elements are at the bottom of the unit, as well as the top, and they are in a direct line for fat dripping on them and smoking issues.
The unit was hot and did heat up my kitchen. I touched the sides periodically to monitor the heat and the last attempt could have burned my hands, if I was a child.
I cooked 2 port chops in it and had to run them through 3 times to get them cooked.
The unit is supposed to be able to handle a higher capacity. I was air frying 9 chicken breasts and that took 3 runs for it to not cook properly on 400 degrees.
The accessories are dishwasher safe, except for the drip pan. I ran it in the dishwasher after the port chops and it came out discolored
Overall, I would have been better off using a skillet or cooking with my own oven.
I thought I was the only person having issues with the smoking. Smoked so bad it had my fire alarms going off. The drip tray below the heating element is a bad idea. Had to put the drip tray above the heating element to keep the smoking down.
Thanks for the tip for keeping the smoking down. Everytime I use this unit it causes so much smoke and the smoke detectors are constantly going off. I just stopped using it. I just wish my husband had consulted with me before purchasing this.
Hi, just received mine, what is the best way to reheat fried fish and veggies?
Hi, Patty – I would put them in the included baking pan and use the reheat function.
I lovely air fryer toaster oven, however, the drip tray is turning black. This does not effect the performance but it doesn’t look clean
I ordered the large air fryer but received the smaller one i really wanted the large one
error code 3
What went wrong.
Roger, did you check your user manual? That’s not something I’ve seen before.
Had to replace my old broiler/toaster Oven & have decided on The Airfryer/Toaster oven But the BEEPING Sound freaks my Lil Shih Tzu out as do a lot of sounds ( Firecrackers, Thunder, Gunshots, loud frequency noises) I googled how to shut the beeping off on my Instapot) So Please Tell Me How To Stop the BEEPING On Your Product
Hi, Debby – I’m sorry your dog reacts negatively to the sound. I don’t know if there’s a way to turn off the sound, but you can check with the manufacturer.
I’m not happy with my air fryer. When I opened the sealed unopen box several items were Not in the box. The drip pan, crisper, basket or bake pan. When I called the company, they were NO help. I didn’t open the box in the correct time frame because I was moving. They told me I could order everything for $13.00/ each. Not Happy!
called customer service to buy emeril airfryer 360 deluxe
with 8 accessories took all my info, charge card no. and told me since I’m ordering the largest one price was reduced to 219.00 but I would have to pay hi. sales tax I told them was fine the she tells me they won’t ship to hi.
even when I told her FedEx and ups delivers here to my house then I told her I would pay shipping but I needed it since my current one broke so now I’m without any
Why do they say in the infomercial that it has a microwave function. I thought it was funny during the infomercial they didn’t demonstrate the microwave function.. I’m not buying one.
man I thought Emeril was an honest guy his reputation is gone Bam!
I have had the Power AirFryer 360 since November 29, 2020. I have enjoyed it very much BUT the coating on the drip tray is peeling off. I tried calling TriStar Products but they couldn’t help me because my husband bought it on Amazon. I would like another drip tray because I am concerned that the peeled coating will transfer to food. Was not happy with the customer rep at TriStar Products either.
That’s disappointing, Mary. We’ve had ours for a year and haven’t experienced peeling on the drip tray, but it is a bit discolored. I wouldn’t think any peeling on it would transfer to food since it shouldn’t come in to contact with anything you’ll eat.
I just received my XL and want to air fry a whole 12 lb turkey but all I can find is how to roast it. I want the crispy air fried skin that I get with a deep fryer. Anyone know settings and temperature for air frying whole turkey?
Hi, Pam – I haven’t air fried a whole turkey, but we did air fry a 4.5 lb chicken in a different air fryer and that took an hour. I’d recommend air frying at 350 degrees and cooking the bird to 165 degrees, which could take two or more hours.
I spice up the outside bird good, spray it with olive oil, put it in the rosting tray or the basket, it comes out with that great crispy skin. I cook it on roasting mode. I change the temperature and adjusted the cook time for longer and little higher setting.
Wow! I’m not having any of these problems. I love mine. I keep it spotless clean to reduce smoking. And never once did anybody say it’s a microwave or can replace a microwave. I live in my motorhome and my stove and oven went out, this is the perfect option. I only paid 150.00 for mine and dont expect it to operate as well as a 400.00 unit. I’m satisfied.
I purchased the Emeril Air Fryer about three days ago, I haven’t had any problems yet. So far, I have only prepared onion rings, toast, sweet potato, kale chips, and homemade fries. The fries were a big hit, and I see myself making those often. It does take up a lot of counter space, but we are retiring our old toaster.
I would like to purchase the 360 rotisserie basket, and an additional crisper tray, but I can’t find any Canadian retailers who sell accessories for this product. The shipping costs more than the accessories themselves.
I think this air fryer will help my family get out of a food rut, and I hope that I don’t encounter some of the problems others have described.
i just got mine and i used it once and the lcd screen is broken, it shows half of the numbers and i don’t know what to do.
Man. A lot of negative reviews. My wife and I LOVE this air fryer. We’ve had it for about a year now. We are still learning new things to cook in it. Wings, fish and chicken sticks are a staple. Apple crisps turned out great. Highly recommended.
The outside of the oven gets to temperatures above 350F, as there is no insulation inside of the unit. It gets so hot you have to be careful that the power chord at the back of the fryer fully extended away from it. The unit will melt the power cord it it touches the outer casing. The whole oven cannot be touched, or you will be likely to receive severe burns to your skin. Anything within 6 to 8 inches from the AirFryer will be effected by the extreme heat emanating while in use. I cannot fault the functionality, or the results you get from using the air fryer, just the fact that it could burn a child, or adult in a second if not careful. IF you have a way to build a safe fire brick enclosure to house it, I would rate it almost 5 stars. Otherwise, I hope they do not delete this review, and let people see what they are really buying up front. Good luck and be careful/safe frying.
I am very mad at the way your people does things . I call and order a power air fryer XL . The lady told me 239.00 so i wrote a check for that amont . I even ask if that was the total she said yes . She gave me the addres so i sent it there . Waited ithink for 4 weeks . I call was told they take 6 weeks before they do anything with it . Call again every week for 2 weeks was told that if the check was not the total they don’t do anything with so I should stop payment on it and let it go . So I went to my bank they want too charge me to stop it so I thought I would try this first . I hope there is something you can do for I can get my fryer . Please let me know if you can help . MY adress is 8673 Ferry ST apt 105 Montague MI. 49437 . My phone # 2312921466 . God Bless Albert Duell Sorry E- Mail is alduell51@gmail.com
Albert, I am sorry you have had a problem with your Emeril(like everyone else does) however other than the one they sent us out to test we have zero affiliation with their company. Please keep contacting the manufacturer, maybe tweet out at them. Hope that helps.
I ordered the air fryer which came to 213.00 I received unit and tried it out for a few days, was not happy with air fryer function, it did not live up to the advertising, I tried other function but was not impressed, it worked no better than my Breville toaster oven. I decided to return the unit because it’s over priced. I was SHOCKED at what it costs to send back, 106.00!!! Half of what the unit cost, what a rip off! I notified customer service they were no help at all.
Then when I sent in the unit I heard nothing from the company, weeks went by no refund.
I went to their web site and chatted with customer service, I ask them where my refund was, it took 45” to find out they had no record of order. I gave them all my info several times over they finally found the order.
The experience with Tristar was awful, really, really, really poor service, over priced unit, I would never, never do busy with them again! Found out later Costco and kohl’s sells the same unit cheaper! The unit is not worth it don’t buy it.
I am also very upset. I have the Air Fryer Pro. First one had to be replaced because the door wouldn’t shut. Why, you ask, did we buy the same model again? I can’t even give you a good answer other than there were no other ones with the same features. My second one worked fine for a while. Now, there is a terrible noise from the fan. These are really badly made – very badly made. Shame on you, Emeril Lagasse
Very disappointing in the Air Fryer XL
Nothing to put over the burners at the bottom, house turns into a smoking disaster.
The trays were bent and could not even get then in the unit. My husband had to bend the just to get them to fit.
We did not receives a pizza rack with ours and when I called customer service I was put on hold and a foreign person I could not understand could not help me, but said I would receive the pizza rack, which never came. I would not recommend this unit at all!
I am going to throw it in the trash!
I agree I am totally disappointed I would like a refund the machine doesn’t do all that’s expected for the space it takes up I have had mine less than 60 days and would like to know how to get a refund and return it very sorry I think a simple air fryer works much better
Extremely disappointing product! Bought the first one to replace my toaster oven; initially the 12 function unit seemed so fun & using the air fryer was awesome. However before I had the product a yr the temperature / selector button quit working. I returned item to Bed Bath & Beyond & was given a replacement. W/in 7 mos product failed again in the same way. Obviously, there is a bad flaw somewhere. I would not recommend purchasing this item.
I Love My All in One Airfryer/Toaster Oven, EXCEPT The BEEPS, I have a small Dog that Panics with certain Beeping Noises ( Smoke Alarms etc., Certain Cell phone Dings, My Instapot ( Their youtube site helped silence it). Is there a Way to STOP THE BEEPS ONTHIS APPLIANCE ( or cut the wire to it ?) OR Do I have to Buy a different Airfryer, Please Help ???
Hi, Debby – You’re not the first person we’ve heard from whose dog has issues with air fryer beeps. Odds are, another air fryer will have similar problems. The Corsori Original that we reviewed only has a turn dial for a timer so it sounds like an egg timer when it goes off. If that’s okay for your dog, you may want to check it out: https://airfrying.net/cosori-original-5-8-quart-air-fryer-review/ Although before you buy another one, it’s worth having someone handy take the back or bottom of the Emeril to see if they can find and disengage the sound mechanism.
This 360 is poorly made..the square end of the Spit rod is 5mm, the Receptacle in the oven is 7mm..sloppy, loose fit. When rotating it falls into the next square and hesitates then drops and starts again..also nothing gets done on the inside and the outside gets dried out….this is a rod-off …my Walmart $60 Airfryer is superior to this overpriced product..we only bought it because it is endorsed by Emeril…..don’t WASTE your $$$ on this…another Made in China product.
This unit is junk. My glass door exploded as I was reheating some chicken nuggets. The warranty is for one year and just after it expired this happened. Don’t waste your money on any TriStar junk.
This is a dangerous unit. Exploding glass doors are a hazard and should be recalled.
I’m reading all these people complaining & wondering if any of them have taken the time to read the directions & your suggestions because I have I found this page early on when I got it last year for Xmas & I love mine. I have a almost 5 yr old who loves pizza rolls & I used the settings suggested on here also with chicken nuggets & both came out amazing I’m actually going to finally try the fruit dehydration that’s why I was on here again so I could see your suggestions. This air fryer is amazing not a scam at all we use it so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️
That’s great to hear, Nicole!
I agree.
I bought my unit at wal mart 2 years ago.
It cooks chicken perfectly. Love the crispy crust. You can adjust the temperature and time on this unit. Do wish the light would stay on loner. It says used mittens when taking food out.
Outside of the unit does not get hot. My unit is the xl360 With buttons instead of the knobs. I paid 129.99 plus tax around Christmas 2020. It’s larger than the unit I had. So far I love it. Really glad it does toast.
It is so easy to clean. The roasting tray just rinse clean with a little wiping.
I got this unit at Christmas 2020, it stayed box up until now, because I already had a air fryer.
I read all these reviews, and it’s nothing like my unit and no one paid me for my review.
So far
Thanks for your reply Jody. I have both the XL360 and the Emeril, after using the Emeril for a couple years, I would actually prefer the XL, the Emeril has some quirks that bother me. It no longer gets as hot as it should, it is better as a toaster oven, and less as an air fryer. Your milage may vary.
i have to say I’m not happy with it I saved my money to buy this I was so exited when I had enough to get it I love how you can Rotisserie a chicken it it. my question is there a easy way to clean it I had to put it outside for it just became to Smokey. Would love to know is there a trick to it. my cheaper toaster oven which had a Rotisserie too was so much easier to clean and I could use it inside. I really though with his name behind it would make it a great product but I have to say I am extremely disappointed.
Hi Rose, after spending a year with Emeril, we do not recommend it. It was great for initial quality, but other people who have this air fry, do not recommend it.
Purchased our Power Air Fryer 360 on 9-22-2021
Today 7-24-2022, while cleaning around the house, we smelled a burning smell and upon investigation we found that the Air Fryer coil was glowing red hot even though nobody had used the unit. We unplugged the unit and moved it outside to cool off. Thankfully we were home to catch it before it caught anything on fire. We were happy with the unit before this, great for Toast, Taquitos and what not but will not buy again. It is scary to think what could have happened had we not been home!
Uggh, we keep hearing how awful the Emerils are, it seems that we got lucky with ours.
very disappointed in this product. Smokes up the house, sets off smoke detectors. very dangerous for burns. .shelves tip down as soon as they are slid even a bit outward, whole contents of shelf slides off. I do not recommend this product. My convection toaster oven did a better job at one fourth the price. and yes I did read all the accompanying literature. I don’t know why I just didn’t return it.
I hear good and bad regarding Emeril. After reading the negativity over and over again, I think we just happened to get a decent one. Would we buy it again? No.
I have enjoyed having my Emeril air fryer until it started shocking. How dangerous is this. Is there a chance of electrocution or house fire
Yikes, that one is new. I knew that they lose heat, but shocking is a whole other world.
THANK YOU for your post.
emeril is a big rip off,he’s on tv,that all. every review i went to,like 10 of them.he was not even on the list. that’s how bad that garbage is..
he is not who he was 20 years ago..
Steve, our finding was that the initial quality was good, but the the long term quality was suspect. We still use the Emeril but for toast mostly.
Thank you for your comment.
Thank you for this review, Sarah.
I’m looking to buy a new toaster oven and from what you say here, the Emeril is worth considering. I appreciate that you really dwelved into each cooking function of this oven.
