Waffles made with a waffle iron are superior on all levels. It’s hard to argue with that. But sometimes you don’t have the time or ingredients to make homemade waffles or you just don’t like the cleanup.
On those occasions, I pull a couple of frozen waffles from the freezer and ready the air fryer. In just six minutes, you too can have your favorite maple syrup delivery system ready for breakfast (or dinner, or a snack). Next time you have a craving for Eggos, try making them in the air fryer.
For other breakfast ideas try one of these breakfast favorites:

- 2 frozen waffles (We prefer Eggos)
- 1 spray butter or margarine (Optional; frozen waffles can dry out, this helps keep them moist.)
- maple syrup (optional)
- air fryer parchment liner (optional)
-
Place air fryer parchment liner in the bottom of air fryer basket. (optional)
-
Spray two frozen waffles with spray butter and place them on the liner in the air fryer.
-
Air fry at 350°F | 177°C for 6 minutes, turning halfway.
-
Note: You may cook the waffles without the butter, but expect them to be a little bit dry. Additionally, you can check the waffles at 5 minutes to determine if they are cooked to your liking.
-
Remove waffles from air fryer. Add additional butter/margarine (or nut butter) and syrup (or jelly/jam) if desired.
Air fryer parchment liners aren't necessary, but they should help with clean up.
