As the upcoming school year approaches, busy parents and caregivers, begin thinking about meal prep for their kiddos. While lunches can be packed ahead of time, preparing breakfast on busy mornings can pose more of a challenge. If you’re looking for an alternative to toaster pastries served on the way out the door, give this delicious air fryer cinnamon toast a try.
Why Cinnamon Toast in the air fryer? Why not.
Prepared in only minutes, this scrumptious breakfast can be easily air fried and made with a variety of different bread. My personal favorite is a thick slice of Italian-style, but you can also use a healthier alternative like whole grain or whole wheat.
For other breakfast ideas try one of these breakfast favorites:

- 2 slices Your Favorite Bread
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp. Granulated Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Butter (Softened)
-
Preheat your air fryer to 400° F | 204° C for 5 minutes
-
In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon, brown sugar, and granulated sugar; set aside.
-
Butter your bread slices. Use softened or melted butter to distribute the butter evenly and thoroughly. Butter both sides for twice sugar on your cinnamon toast.
-
Air fry at 400° F | 204° C for approximately 3 minutes, or until desired texture is achieved.
-
Sprinkle on your cinnamon, and sugar mixture and cover thoroughly.
-
Plate and Enjoy!
Pro Tip: Add your cinnamon, sugar mixture after toasting your bread because, otherwise, the air fryer will spin those little sugar granules around in your air fryer like a tiny sandblasting tornado.

This is helpful. I’ve never used an air fryer before. It is funny how much manufacturers think everyone will know how to use a new product. I simply wanted to make toast. It was funny to read that the toast may fly around in the air fryer. I’m looking forward to using the convection oven, broiler and grill features.
That’s terrific, Ann – enjoy your new air fryer!
