Whether you’re grilling cheeseburgers for a cookout or cooking chicken fingers for a mid-week dinner, crisp, delicious onion rings make for the perfect side dish. Unfortunately, by the time you’ve mixed the batter, dipped the onions, and deep-fried them, you’ve wasted a good hour. Who can afford the time and unwanted calories? Fortunately, it is quick and easy to cook frozen onion rings in the air fryer.

- 1 bag of your favorite frozen onion rings Brew City is the best
- Oil for spraying
-
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F | 204°C.
-
Spray the basket of your air fryer with oil
-
Pour 1/2 the bag into the basket of your air fryer (how much you can cook depends upon the capacity of your fryer). 5 onion rings are typically considered a serving.
-
Cook at 400° F | 204° C for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through. Add additional time if you prefer your onion rings crispier.
-
Plate and serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!

These were perfect at 8 mins. Served with ranch dressing. They tasted like they were fried and from a restaurant – I loved that they are so much healthier than a restaurant!! Thank you!
Sounds good will try onion ring today and let you know result. Thank you
I used my ninja foodi and it took almost 20mins and they still were not crispy and I used less then half a bag. I have the larger Ninja so I do not know why it didny work right
Hmm, I don’t know why it didn’t work right either, Michelle. Was the temperature right? Good thing you have half a bag left to try it again!
