One of the most popular entrees when it comes to fine dining is the classic bacon-wrapped filet. However, for those counting calories or avoiding red meat, even the finest cut of beef may be off-limits. That’s where poultry can serve as a great stand-in. Even with the bacon, these air fryer bacon-wrapped turkey filets provide a delicious alternative with only a fraction of the fat and cholesterol of their beef counterparts.
We first discovered these filets in the freezer aisle at our local Aldi, and, after reading the nutritional label, decided to take a chance and try them out. Since then, these bacon-wrapped turkey filets have been making regular appearances in our monthly meal rotation. Paired with steamed broccoli or asparagus or sweet potato (sprinkled with cinnamon), this meal looks and tastes like it was prepared and served in a fine restaurant.
And the best part? These delicious turkey filets go from freezer to plate in around 25 minutes, thanks to the rapid air technology of your air fryer.
- 1 We used Kirkwoods frozen turkey breast filets we found at Aldi. often these can be found at Sams Club

TIP, if the turkey breast is thick, about 20 minutes into the cook, slice into the middle of the breast then finish cooking. This allows the heat to penetrate the center.
