I have not had success with air fryer cakes in the past. I purchased a 6″ round cake pan and filled it about 2/3 full with batter. It looked done and tested done, but when I let it cool and turned it out, the center was a huge molten mess. The top was a little firmer than usual, so when I would pull out the tester, the uncooked batter got scraped off, giving me the false reading that it was done. This happened with 3 different recipes. Thanks for the suggestion to cook it in multiple layers. That may solve the problem.
