As summer winds down and autumn approaches, busy moms and dads may be looking for some fresh ideas for their meal rotations, including desserts. And if chocolate, bonfires, and crisp weather is your favorite, then toss your coat-hangers and skewers and try out our ooey, gooey air fryer s’mores.
How to make air fryer s’mores
These marshmallow favorites are fast, easy, and just as delicious when prepared in the air fryer as they are when cooked over a campfire. Which brings me to the best part: if your outdoor bonfire or campfire gets rained out, then you can simply take the party to the kitchen and toast your marshmallows in the air fryer.
The most important part of this recipe is to make sure you toast the marshmallows first, before adding the chocolate. I placed a round of parchment paper in the bottom of the air fryer to ensure quick clean-up, placed a graham cracker square on the parchment then added the marshmallow. I then cooked the marshmallow until it reached its desired consistency before adding the chocolate square and topping it all off with the other graham cracker. These cooked in about two minutes and were actually more delicious in the air fryer than the traditional way.

Because of your air fryer’s rapid air technology, there is no catching the marshmallow on fire or scorching it beyond recognition. What you get is a perfectly toasted marshmallow that is crisp on the outside and oh, so melty and delicious on the inside. You can also melt your chocolate a bit more for a truly decadent experience.

- 1 jumbo marshmallows

Break a graham cracker in half and place in the air fryer (ideally on a parchment liner to ease clean up)
Place jumbo marshmallow on half of the graham cracker
Air fry 1 minute at 370° F / 165° C
Top with chocolate and other graham cracker half
Finish cooking for 1 minute at 370° F / 165° C
