For almost a decade my wife has been vegan. Because of this, I eat vegan meals more often than not, it is just easier to cook plant-based meals for the meals that we share together. And to be honest, I can’t tell the difference half the time anyway. Especially with Beyond meat.
Beyond Meat Burgers
Although my preference is Impossible Burger, they don’t sell it in grocery stores. What we do have in grocery stores is Beyond Meat, and it is pretty decent, it has a similar texture to ground beef, and is a close second for Impossible burgers. Beyond Meat comes two 4oz patties to a package. Each burger has 260 calories each, which is very comparable to ground beef at 241calories. Beyond burger has less saturated fats and a similar amount of protein. Plant-based Beyond Meat burgers are very close in texture, and flavor to ground beef.

Cooking Beyond Meat burgers in the air fryer
- 2 Beyond Meat Burgers
- 1 leaf Lettuce
- 1 Onion slice
- sliced Tomato
- 1 tbsp Veganaise
- 1 slice Daiya Cheese
Preheat the air fryer to 370° F | 187° C for 5 minutes.
Add in a parchment liner to help with clean up.
Add in both Beyond Meat burgers and cook for 9 minutes at 370° F | 187° C flipping halfway.
Add to bun, plate and enjoy!
